As a career creative, photography was always my release. Not because it’s easy, but because it is the creative outlet I’ve always enjoyed the most. There’s something so wonderfully challenging about trying to capture a moment in time. It has always had the power to make me think differently, see with clarity, and be present whatever I’m doing and wherever I am.
The world is such a beautiful place, and I have been fortunate to be able to travel and see so many places that have humbled and inspired me. That’s why I started taking pictures. To me, the process of capturing an image begins when I see something that for many reasons - beauty, grandeur, unfamiliarity among them. I try to capture things from the perspective I seem them through. This gives my work both a sense of journalistic exploration, and a sense of situational intimacy.
